It's all about mixing

I've never been the one to mix, I have to admit that I have always been kind of cautions when it comes to dressing. I never used to wear clothes that were any different from those who surrounded me, maybe I didn't have the inspiration it took, mainly I was ashamed of what others could say. But when I started blogging, or better, when I started seeing all of your blogs something changed. Inspiration comes from many sources, and though since I was ten years old I have avidly read fashion magazines, what definitely has inspired me the most is streetsyle, or, in other words, watching you all made me realize that there was nothing to be afraid of. I wear what I like and I express my mood and my personality that way, I'm not very extravagant or that different, I'm perfectly aware of that, but people of my surroundings seem more or less cut from the same pattern, and what if I don't fit there? It doesn't really bother. So here I am, it's not very original, it has probably been seen everywhere, but I'm mixing dots and stripes, and I like it!
My grandfather used to collect all kinds of stuff, it's so amazing what he had in this house.

On March came out the first number of Harper's Bazaar Spain and it was really good so I'm definitely going to buy it every month, this one is april's,though, which wasn't so good as the first one, but still.

These pictures were all taken in my grandma's garden at her house in the mountain. I love all of the flowers, the plants... so beautiful. I went there two days to chill out, 'cause you don't have any distractions there, even to buy bread you have to go to another town, (there's no internet either, of course) so it is the perfect place to relax or do nothing, though I admit that spending more time there would drive me crazy.
I was wearing skirt, belt and flats from Zara, Stripped shirt from H&M, and Scarf from Stradivarius

Let the birds sing and your imagination fly

Wearing AA skirt, Zara belt, tights and shirt.

Looks just like Spring is really coming now, Spring break is already here, and though I have tones of work to do, I'm gonna enjoy every minute of it. Partying of course, is a part of the equation. I had so much fun tonight, I'll probably update some pictures of it soon.

These are the words of the Popstars

Whenever I don't know what title to put, I'll just write the first lyrics that come to my mind... I've been listening a lot of the Rooneys lately :).
My boyfriend was gentle enough to take this pictures the other day, one day it is sunny, and the other it is snowing.. totally crazy, but not as crazy as I am for Spring and warm weather to really come (and stay). I'm tired of tights, coats and all that jazz, it's time of bare legs, skirts and sandals, so I'm sorry winter, you will have to let it go!

So you see that I'm not lying, this picture is from two weeks ago, totally insane right?

I love, love, love this top, it's so beautiful! And I'm also over the top with these rose earrings, they used to be my grandma's, but not anymore (sorry grandma!). She doesn't wear them now so she just gave them to me,isn't she the most adorable woman? :).

Top from Zara, shoes and blazer from Stradivarius, Bag and scarf from H&M.

Out&About

Yesterday Santi and I spent a quite friday night together, we went to a Japanese Restaurant in Barcelona (c/ Muntaner) and boy, the food was good! I love Japanese, and the price was really good too so what else could one ask for? More than a need, eating is such a pleasure ♥

I wore a Shirt from Massimo Dutti, jeggings from Zara and Oxfords from Primark.

I love the snake bracelet from the first picture, and I wear it like all the time, and I'm afraid I could say the same about the Oxfords... So comfortable!

Love Valentino

Well, it's probably a little too late to be posting pictures about this collection, but I wasn't able to resist (better late than ever right? I'm such a bad blogger...) . I can't say I've ever been it's biggest fan, other brands have caught my attention more intensely over the years, but well, this time i couldn't help but falling in love. Valentino's collection is from my point of view, the ultimate feminine collection. It's so ethereal and classy, I'd kill for one of those dresses, specially one of them. I need it. So much that please God/Nature/Energy, whatever there is out there, let my dreams be fulfilled.

This particular dress would make my dreams come true, I could definitely wear it all summer long. As a famous stylist we all know would say : I die.

Lace, lace ♥
Mr. Valentino might not be the one designing any more, but Pier Paolo and Maria Grazia Chiuri are definitely doing a great job.

Will you be my Valentine?

Happy Valentine’s day! ♥

Some say it is a commercial day and it’s celebrated with the only purpose of consume, but let me just say that though everyday should be a day to celebrate love (which doesn’t necessarily have to be with a man or a woman with who you have a relationship with but also friends, family, or why not, oneself) it’s always nice to have a special day that reminds you, once again, with simple (or not so simple) details, that you are loved. Loved by your boyfriend, girlfriend, friends, family... Because Valentine's day shouldn't be a day where only those who are in a couple are happy and those who are not are depressed, because being single is also a good thing, nothing is better or not, what makes you feel better is what makes the difference and being happy only depends of you.

Yesterday night my boyfriend prepared me dinner, and surprise! A cream cake shaped as a heart, I've gotta tell, it was delicious!

As a present he gave me this bag, it's huuuuge (and I love it!), chocolates, and the best of it, he prepared an album from the trip we made. Isn't he the best boyfriend ever? T'estimo Santi!

Stripped shirt from H&M, Jeggings from Primark, hells from Zara.

This is the diamond and white gold ring my father gave me for my eighteenth birthday, it's simple but elegant and beautiful, I love it. The earrings are from Swarovski.

And changing completely of subject, as all of you I herd the tragic news of the loss of yet another legend of the fashion industry: RIP Alexander McQueen.

Break

So today, after living in my pyjamas for a few days, I decided to take a break from studying and go out "just for a change" because, as I said before until february... So I woke up and I just felt brown. Do you know those days when you just know that you want to dress around a color? Well, that wa it. I had just bought a cardigan and it's really simple, but it's soft and I love the color that my friend described as her "mocca from Starbucks". It was a gray day so I just thought brown.

I love this thing that I wear as a jacket, I say "thing" because I don't really know a word to describe it, it definitely isn't a cape, it isn't a jacket... Strange knitwear, and I love it.

I was wearing stripped cardigan from Primark, Brown heels from Stradivarius, Vintage purse, Neclacke from Svarowski, and Vintage gold ring and diamond earrings (both given by my grandmas on my b-day)

On our way back home we coincided with the parade of the three wise men, here in lots of the houses they bring more presents than Santa (you know, he's busy and has to delegate...) so tomorrow morning, presents! :D
