Break

So today, after living in my pyjamas for a few days, I decided to take a break from studying and go out "just for a change" because, as I said before until february... So I woke up and I just felt brown. Do you know those days when you just know that you want to dress around a color? Well, that wa it. I had just bought a cardigan and it's really simple, but it's soft and I love the color that my friend described as her "mocca from Starbucks". It was a gray day so I just thought brown.

I love this thing that I wear as a jacket, I say "thing" because I don't really know a word to describe it, it definitely isn't a cape, it isn't a jacket... Strange knitwear, and I love it.

I was wearing stripped cardigan from Primark, Brown heels from Stradivarius, Vintage purse, Neclacke from Svarowski, and Vintage gold ring and diamond earrings (both given by my grandmas on my b-day)

On our way back home we coincided with the parade of the three wise men, here in lots of the houses they bring more presents than Santa (you know, he's busy and has to delegate...) so tomorrow morning, presents! :D

2010!

More than happily did I say goodbye to 2009, I'm not gonna say it was a bad year because wonderful moments happened, but... well, some reaally bad too. But now it's 2010, a whole new decade in front of us and lots of fabulous things to occur are foreseen in the horizon. Let's be positive, after all, it's a new year!

The London Diaries Part I

I just came back from London, which kind of equals depression. Though I've already been there (like two and a half years ago) and I've already started loving it, my devotion to this city has just increased in a level not foreseen by anyone. This time I got to see almost all of the city and with the boyfriend, which just made it better. Madam Tussaud's, The British Museum, The Big Ben, the London Eye, the London Tower... and not only the monuments and the touristic and typical places, also the streets, the people, the parks, everything just made this trip what it was : perfect.

The Covent Garden is definitely one of my favourite locations in London. There I went to a cupcakes store that belongs to a supermodel of the '90, Lorraine Pascale. After leaving her career as a model she opened this little yet adorable cupcakes place and man, I can tell, all of it was delicious!

Made in Spain

Exquisite taste, impeccable, stylish, best friends with Armani... those of you who live in Spain probably know that I'm talking about Eugenia Silva. She is one of the most famous models from our country, though she lives in NY, and, let me just say: I love her.

She's the lady, my dear friend

I remember being a kid, about nine years old, and avidly reading the first two books of the Harry Potter series. Being absorbed by its story and its characters, and feeling charmed by the lovely Hermione. Once upon a time (as I'm sure we all know), the books turned into movies and Hermione's role was taken by a young Emma Watson. Her curly hair and nice smile probably "seduced" all of the fans (me included) and nowadays, the girl that we will probably always relate to the smart magician has become a gorgeous woman with an impeccable sense of style, which obviously has been perceived by everyone in the fashion world. On July I was going on a trip to Greece and at the airport I bought ELLE UK where she posed in a stunning editorial looking amazing. I might like wear some of the clothes, like this beautiful corset, the Channel bag (who wouldn't though?), the black pumps and the jewelry. But what can I say? I simply love her.

PD. I can't help but notice the make-up, I loooove how they emphasize her eyes. The whole thing just looks perfect.

Je t'adore FORMENTERA

Later this june I went two weeks with my best friend and her family to an island here in Spain called Formentera, an island known for its paradisiac beaches, the lack of huge buildings and large roads, hippie people and great nature. I can definitely say that it is the prettiest place I've ever been to, Formentera is a place worthwhile visiting and where you would surely want to stay.

Every 23th of June in Catalunya and some other places in Spain Sant Joan (aka St. John) is celebrated. It is the longest night of the year, everyone goes out at night, sets up fires and we even have special "cakes" for the day.





Water couldn't be any clearer and beautiful.



I spent quite an amount of money at flea markets and hippie shops...
