After an amazing month in New York and Florida, I came back to Barcelona on the 13th of August (thanks American Airlines for all of the delays I had to deal with...). So far the days here have been quiet and relaxing, spending time with the loved ones that I hadn't seen in a long time, and dealing with the heat of the City. 

One of the best things in Barcelona in August are the festivities of the Gràcia neighborhood. My favourite part of it all? Visiting the streets that the neighbors have thematically decorated to win the competition that takes place every summer in Gràcia.

This week has been busy, and the next one is probably going to be one of the most hectic and stressing of the year, with three finals that are closer than around the corner. Despite all of this stress, though, there are a few things that keep me smiling, like taking naps with my beautiful brother/dog or sending notes to my dad via him, receiving flowers from my significant other or treating myself to macaroons to instantly be in a better mood.

A few weeks ago I got the amazing chance of visiting Moscow. I participated in the Moscow Model United Nations, and it was, overall, a great experience. I got to spend a week with great companions and friends, learn a lot, and despite being shocked by the corruption impregnating all levels of society, that yes, we also had to deal with, I couldn’t be more pleased with the amount of fun we had.

Obviously, I also enjoyed the food :)
